Like I said, I'm gonna make a post about the upcoming spring season anime. It looks like the line-up is quite interesting. There are lots of science-fiction series, supernatural comedy and no hentai game adaptations this time. Of course, 2 of my favorites will be aired on April and that excites me. On the other hand, I don’t know who Gonzo is and what Production IG is, but from my observations most of their works are cool, both of them have three series coming out and for that, I can’t wait 'til April starts. :) 

The following are series that have been confirmed for Spring '08, some of which are starting on March. My comments are also included. ( Note: They are soley my own opinion. ^_^)

Comments: I'm a big fan of Vampire Knight Manga, and it's a really good news for me that they're going to adapt it in anime, I will finally see it in action. The story has an interesting plot to follow, it's not just about those good looking characters, you will just have to see through it. I hope the anime will be handled well.

Comments: This is the second season of the highly fanboyed and R1-licensed mecha series. The ending of the first season was a cliff-hanger, and I think that makes this series interesting to view. I still don't like this anime but I'm gonna watch it because some reviews said it's something to look forward to neh...

Comments: I beginning to fall in love with that white-haired guy. ^_^ Anyway, this is just an ordinary series but it has a touch of Chrono Crusade to it. My attention is focused on that guy and I’m going to watch this for the sake of those characters hehehehe...

Comments: A shojo series that looks fairly interesting. I must say, that for a high-school drama, this seems like a solid one. Again, Gonzo is going to be animating this. I hope it turns out well. I'll be watching this cause it really looks cute. XD

Comments: It somehow sounds like the Anime Gambling Apocalypse Kaiji. The trailer looks interesting, I must say that a game like this has quite a potential for entertainment. I'll be watching this anime, and with just 3 episodes, I don't think it will waste my time.

Comments: Production IG is on fire for this season, with three major series planned. I didn’t watch the first season but the reviews for the first season said this anime was absolutely terrific. Also, it's "CLAMP" so I’ll try the first few episodes.

Comments: At first, this may seem like an ordinary kiddie-show, but take a look at the people who’ll be animating this. From the episode director of Death Note, Gungrave, Beck and Paradise Kiss, and to make matters weirder, he was the assistant director in Tokyo Tribe 2 and Shigurui. So had enough reasons to watch this? This just makes me really curious to see whether he’ll combine the gore of Shigurui with the cuteness of this concept. :P

Comments:  Shounen ai Fans rejoice! 'Cause this anime will probably have lots of Shounen-ai in it. It looks interesting with the three different couples, and the obsessed teddy-bear-loving famous novelist. One look at the director gives it more reason to check this one out: the director of Higurashi no Naku Koro ni is behind it. Weird huh? This looks like another solid hit so I might have to watch this... ^_^

Comments: From the summary above, it looks like the series is funny and interesting. A unique way of showing another love story and it said that the series was such a hit that it was made into a 9-episode Japanese live-action dorama. I think it's worth a watch. ^_^

Comments: For those who don’t know, there have been two Angelique TV-Series before, in 2006 and 2007. I haven't watched any of them but some of reviewers said they are all fine. The personality of the girl looks fine, but the guys look stereotyped as hell, who cares, they all are still good-looking. @_@ I think it's worth a try. Hehehehe...

Summary:  Based on the ancient video-game: the Tower of Druaga

Comments: Another  fantasy-adventure series and it looks like this might be interesting. Looking at the promo-art, it looks like just an ordinary series, and the backgrounds look like a lot of attention was spent on it. An interesting fact: the director of Last Exile will be behind it.

Comments: My first reactionn when I saw the image was, "What!?" It's loli... so I'm definitely not interested, but as I read the summary I got totally confused. I need to review this more so I might watch a few episodes of this one. What the creators need to pay attention to is to not market this series for the pedophiles, but instead just go with the regular storytelling. In that case, this could become very interesting.

So there you go, looks like it's gonna be fun this April! ^_^ I just hope that they all turn out well, specialy those on my top list. Have fun reading it!

I think it was aired in ABS-CBN then.    I'm also looking forward to the animation of both Vampire Knight and Special A. I've been reading their respective mangas and hope that their animated version will live up to what their mangas have presented.     Also, I'm curious about the following: Monochrome Factor, Amatsuki, Junjo Romantica & Bus Gamer to name a few, so I might take a look at them during my summer vacation.
