Ok enough of the shoujo and romance manga series, let's have some adventure in the future of japan. ^_^
Yoshina Ageha is a high schooler who is worried about the destruction mankind is causing to the planet. One day he receives a misteryous call and a strange creature appears, leaving Ageha a card with the word “Psyren” in it. The next day, Ageha discovers the same card on his friend Amamiya Sakurako’s wallet. A few moments later, Sakurako disappears. Ageha then starts hearing rumors that say that Psyren is an alternative world and, suddenly, one day, while being chased by two policeman, the strange creature appears again in front of him and he is teleported to Psyren, “the other world."

Suwa Daisuke is your regular high school guy who dreams to leave the small boring town where he lives and to move to the big city. He also a bit of a playboy and keeps a lookout on all the girls around him. All expect one: Aikawa Hinako, a fragile and shy girl with an extreme horror for men which Daisuke interprets as being an simple act of “sweet virgin”, a thing that he hates. After doing his deliveries for the family’s restaurant, he goes to rest inside an abandoned church that’s supposedly haunted (actually, he spread that rumor in the village so he could have a quiet place) But on that day his rest is disturbed by the presence of Hinako, so he hides in the confessionary trying to avoid her. Hinako confuses the guy inside with a real priest so she starts making her shocking revelation: that when she was in junior high she was sexually abused by her stepfather, got pregnant, and then had an abortion. Even so, she got abused and pregnant again, but had the son, who was delivered to adoption, one year ago. ( source: thatanimeblogger.net )
